Business Funding and Support
Eligible businesses may receive a grant to create their digital transformation plan with a 0% loan of up to $100,000.
Organizational Training
The CDAP provides staff with the materials, support, and training needed to onboard new technologies.
Work Opportunities
Support for up to 160,000 small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) to create jobs for young Canadians.
The Boost Your Business Technology grant offers support to Canadian-owned SMBs looking to adopt new digital technologies. Eligible businesses have access to digital adoption experts to help them develop a specific digital adoption program. These participating businesses can apply for a grant to cover the creation of their digital transformation program with a digital advisor. The grant covers up to 90% of the eligible cost for digital advisory services, up to a maximum grant value of $15,000 per SMB. Businesses may also secure a 0% interest loan from the Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC) to facilitate the acquisition of new technology. Applicants are also able to employ post-secondary students and recent graduates through subsidized work placements to assist with their digital transformation while providing young workers with relevant and tangible technological experience.
How to Apply
1. Register for CDAP
Register on the Innovation, Science and Economic Development (ISED) website.
2. Build a Digital Plan
Build out your Digital Transformation plan with an advisor.
3. Get Approved
Submit your invoices to the ISED to receive a grant to cover your advisory fees.
4. Apply for a Loan
Once approved, apply for a loan of up to $100,000 with the BDC.
Bronson’s Digital Readiness and Transformation Assessment
A Digital Readiness Assessment is an evaluation of an organization’s readiness to undertake digital transformation. Bronson has the capabilities to build your organization a custom digital transformation framework to evaluate opportunities, guide planning, and align digital strategies to your business’ goals.
A digital readiness assessment differs from an IT assessment in that an IT assessment focuses on pipes and plumbing – identifying, providing and maintaining the technological infrastructure and solutions. The two strategies can be combined or developed separately.
