Project Description

Over a three-year period, Bronson supported Polar Knowledge Canada (POLAR) with program management aspects associated with their science and technology and knowledge management programs and the operation of the Canadian High Arctic Research Station (CHARS) in Cambridge Bay, Nunavut.

This work involved providing strategic advice to POLAR related to work planning, budget development, performance management and the seeking of approvals and authorities for their operations. Bronson worked extensively with agency directors and the President to develop sound work planning and reporting processes. This work included the facilitation of workshops with senior managers to discuss overall priorities and agree on the path forward in work planning.

Bronson has also supported POLAR with the analysis and reporting of their performance management metrics. This involved the development of their annual Departmental Plan and Departmental Report on Results. Developing these reports involved reviewing and providing advice related to POLAR’s requirements as outlined in Treasury Board’s Policy of Results, including the review and recommending updates to POLAR’s Performance Information Profile.

Bronson also supported POLAR with the development of documentation to seek additional funding and policy authorities.
