Project Description
Provided data analytics advisory and capacity building services to Audit and Evaluation Branch. Services included basic training in Alteryx Designer and Tableau Desktop to a team of NRCan Audit and Evaluation staff. Training sessions were conducted virtually using Microsoft Teams and consisted of two half-day sessions for both Alteryx and Tableau, using training material which has been developed internally by Bronson.
A proof-of-concept exercise was conducted subsequent to these training sessions where sample business challenges relating to data processing were provided by NRCan, with Alteryx and/or Tableau being used to generate prototype solutions for these real-world data analytics issues and challenges.
Business Challenge
The Audit and Evaluation Branch of NRCan required data analytics advisory and capacity building services to enhance the skills of their staff in data analytics tools such as Alteryx Designer and Tableau Desktop. They needed assistance in understanding and effectively utilizing these tools to address real-world data analytics challenges.
Our Solution and Outcome
Bronson provided basic training in Alteryx Designer and Tableau Desktop to the Audit and Evaluation Branch staff of NRCan. Training sessions were conducted virtually using Microsoft Teams, consisting of two half-day sessions for both Alteryx and Tableau.
Bronson utilized internally developed training material to ensure the sessions were comprehensive and tailored to the needs of the staff. Following the training sessions, a proof-of-concept exercise was conducted where sample business challenges relating to data processing were provided by NRCan.
Bronson assisted the staff in using Alteryx and/or Tableau to generate prototype solutions for these real-world data analytics issues and challenges. This equipped the Audit and Evaluation Branch staff with the skills and tools necessary to effectively analyze data and address business challenges in their roles.
Overall, Bronson’s solution enhanced the data analytics capabilities of NRCan’s Audit and Evaluation Branch, improving their capacity to conduct data-driven evaluations and assessments.
